Yep, still no running for me. I'm seeing the physio on Saturday for another free massage so I can tell him all about my pain. Moving around OK but can't nip across roads or go up steps without mewing like a kitten. Drives home how much I take my body for granted until it stops working properly!
I'm hoping another week, then unglue myself from the couch. Apparently it takes around three weeks to lose fitness, so I should be alright.

You'll get through this too, runningwild! Just needs time and patience and heaven knows you've had plenty of practise with that!
I was amazed at how little fitness I lost when I had to time-out with my knees. I'm still working up - 10 mins run 4 walk 10 run yesterday, but it's because of my knees and not my fitness, I could easily run a lot longer. I know you prefer outside running (so do I when there's not a metre and a half of white stuff on the ground and ice as well to boot) - but running on a treadmill is definitely easier on the legs/lungs. Might be good to start out there, it would let you get into longer runs quicker.
Thanks Mitts, I hope the knees continue to behave themselves! My leg's definitely on the mend, can go up stairs now unless the step is really steep! Really handy I've got the Physio guy tomorrow, he should be able to shed more light on what I did to my quad!Didn't think of the treadmill, am not a gym member but thanks for the suggestion, bear it in mind for the future.
Yes those rollers are really worth the temporary pain ;P
