Yesterday was challenging. After an hour of weight training with a tough physical therapist turned trainer whom I see 3 times a week, I went out for a run and turned on stepping stones from C25K+. After the warm up walk and about 2K running, the heart rhythm treatment caught up with me and I could go no more. I run with a heart monitor and it seems like my heart rate could not get high enough (because of the tablets) to sustain the activity. Managed to walk another 2-3K before going in but felt such fatigue that I crashed in bed for 4 hours. I don't know why some days the heart will function fine and some days it won't, since I take the same medication at the same time each day. A bit dis"heart"ening, especially because I am so healthy even at 63, and the heart muscle is normal. The problem is strictly electrical, gratefully.
So today, I will soon be off to try, try again. It feels like a better day!

Thanks, Shelley! It went great! Did stepping stones on the C25K+ podcast and then walked 2 more miles with some intervals thrown in followed by a short rest then spin cycling class. It's getting easier each time on those days I can finish. I think the spin class may help with running cadence, since it is similar. Hope so, because it is really challenging!
