I, M BACK AFTER THE SNOW started week 2 again I listened to all your advice about slowing down the runs ( I could not do 90 second runs) and today in headon wind and the last half it was raining I did ALL 90 second runs not bad for a old girl who has not run for 50 years. I will let you know how I get on. Thanks again guys xx

Well done, it's not easy running against the elements. Very good advice to slow down rather than stop, that's got me through many a tough patch. Keep going and you'll get there.
What a lovely feeling to do them all. I succumbed to buying a running magazine yesterday (!) and there was loads in there about going slow to start with. It's hard sometimes, when so many younger ones (and some oldies too) can go so much faster - but it's much better to be moving slowly than to not be moving at all!
We could do with a little tortoise icon. I wonder if there's one about...
Good for you nannyp, i have yet to venture outside, but i have all these great blogs to spur me on.
greenlegs i also "nearly" bought i running mag but felt slightly nauseous on flicking through and seeing all these running perma tan electric light toothy grin person's that i managed to resist, but never say never.....lol

I bought it in the supermarket - only noticed when I got home how much I'd paid for it! Sheesh! Yes, the pictures are mostly a bit ott.
I liked this quote though: "Avoid injury by avoiding the 'terrible toos': too much, too soon, too often, too fast, with too little rest' - podiatrist Dr Stephen Pribut.
Thanks all next run Tuesday let you know how it goes
