Magnum (husband) and I got up super early this morning and despite lots of aches on the way round and a super blister we managed to complete run 2. Phew!

Well done! It's lovely that there's another couple on here doing the programme together! You should get talking to gdeann and smhall (Gayle and Steve)

Thanks for the message - Gayle and Steve have already been in touch and sent some messages of support. It is so nice to be part of the community.

GREAT JOB!!!! :-) You mentioned blister, do you have decent trainers? The sales person at our running store also suggested running socks to wick moisture away. I guess cotton socks will hold moisture and cause blisters. I hope run 3 goes great for the two of you!!! I am the one married to smhall/Steve, we share our aches and pains as well as our muscle rub together. :-) Gayle

Thanks for the message. My trainers are pretty decent, and I thought my socks were OK but I guess I will try different ones before getting more new trainers. Felt really energised at work after this mornings run, although looking forward to a good sleep now.
