I had about 4 weeks off just after graduating and eased myself back in with a 2 mile run and a 20 min interval session only to find that fortunately I hadn't lost much fitness at all and was back to normal in a couple of weeks.

We missed 20+ days and did a 30 min. Run the first time out. We were slower, but very pleased we had retained most of our fitness. Wishing you well! Gayle

same here - had an extended break over Christmas - and straight back into 30 min runs - just get on the treadmill, warm up and then suck it and see!!!!! (don't go mad though!!!) I think you will be suprised!!

Following the wedding at the end of September and no longer having the motivation of fitting into the dress my, plus the cold dark evenings, I hadn't run until last Sunday. I put on the 9 week pod cast and just went until i couldn't anymore which was around 20 minutes. Now for my run tonight I'll use wk 5 r 3 and work back up from there.

Good Luck
