Awoke this morning to a beautiful sunrise over the streets of London, touching everything with a warm red hue - who could resist running with such a backdrop? Not me!!

Urban running is not the prettiest or most exciting - concrete, tarmac, buildings, traffic, noise, litter, more concrete - but at dawn even all this can be transformed into something magical and special in a runner's world.....

I am loving my runs in daylight whilst off work so am making the most of it before going back next week to dark, evening runs. Happy running everyone!

Sue

Sue, this is just lovely! Such a beautiful sunrise, I'm sure it did motivate you! Enjoy the days off before you have to go back to work and running at night. Blessings! Gayle

Looks lovely, Sue. I don't mind being up early but find it hard work running in the mornings and usually leave my runs until later in the day. Have you started to notice the extra minutes of daylight yet? :)

Yes I have Oona!! Funny how just a small change can be noticed; I find it more in the evening.

This is actually the earliest I have been for a run and did enjoy it I must say. I would love to run before work but just not possible.....

Oh, lovely, Sue. I'm already planning my London runs (visiting mid-January) so let's hope for sunrises like this one!
