I reached W4R2 yesterday and by the time I came back home I was all red in the face and sweaty, which is common since week 3. But yesterday I was also feeling some dull throbbing in my head - is this common, or does it mean I'm doing something wrong, maybe not cooling down properly after the run or my heart rate is not getting regulated as it should?

I find the cold weather gives me a headache and i have been considering running with my buff as a headband as i get far too hot with a hat on or perhaps you could be dehydrated try drinking a small glass of water before you run, apparently that helps for a stich as well
I used to get this when I did Zumba and it was connected to a very stiff neck, so make sure your posture is ok. The other likely problem is dehydration, so make sure you stay hydrated!
Thank you both. I also thought of wearing a headband or ear buds as it is indeed getting a little cold and I tend to run quite late in the day when the park is not very crowded. The water may help too, and I'll have my posture looked at by my physiotherapist. Lucky for me, I work at a Diabetes Clinic so help is always at hand
I would think the most probable cause is dehydration. Do you drink water before you go out? I try and down a really big glassful - it doesn't make you pee en route, by the way, as we all tend to sweat it off. When you get home have another big glassful as soon as you arrive.
