I'm pleading to the weather gods to PLEASE make it stop raining!!! I agree that a light drizzle actually makes the run quite enjoyable but persistent pouring rain is not fun
Fortunately my dog loves the rain so regardless of weather or motivation I'm running as planned! Week 5 run 2 here we go

Oh no, getting out there and get started is the worst part in heavy rain. But at least your dog is up for it! Mine really doesnt like more than drizzle, he is quite pathetic. I did put a coat on him once but he has a habit of disappearing into bramble bushes and almost lost his expensive new coat in one so he has to manage without.
Sorry to rub it in but we have just come back from a great walk up the woods as the sun came up in pretty spectacular fashion!
haha my dog is a collie/lab cross so will go out in any weather!! run was actually quite fun in the end, the rain died down after a few minutes and beach was quiet and the sun was still rising so pretty good all in all
weekend weather is looking ok so fingers crossed for a dry day to tackle W5R3 in!
