Buggy Running (Week 1 Run 2). Normal running (Week 8 run 2) on hold.

OK week 8 run one went well (few weeks ago now so the rose tinted spectacles are well and truly out). Anyway I managed it and am still here to tell the tale so great.

Now its so much darker though I have re-started right at the beginning and am going running with my 20mth old in the buggy. Week 1 run 1 was fairly easy, run 2 however I changed route and found some very slight hills and actually that was quite hard. I am enjoying it though- actually running for such a short time after running for 27 minutes is quite nice. My daughter seems to be enjoying it too.

Thank you to all the ladies who said I could do the buggy running thing- the main thing I struggle with is getting out of the way of cars (single track roads). I also suspect three wheelers may be a bit better suited but I can't justify getting a third buggy!!

Oh and can I just say I have lost 10lb since starting Couch25K, am completely converted to running!

U sound a bit like me, I've had to start running with my baby too. I started off with her in the maclaren. It was ok but hard work, so following some advice from people on here I got a 3 wheeler on eBay. It was just £14 and well worth it as it 's much easier to push and i can get out on to footpaths instead of just the pavement. If you have the space, I recommend it (mine is currently hiding in the car, as I don't know how to fit it the house!).
