Blowing a gale over here!

Running into a west wind off the Irish Sea....no hope this morning! I didn't even get as far as the prom. I was running and not moving at one stage, nearly lifted me off my feet and I couldn't breathe! How can I measure the effort of that measly run...2.8k? Very exhilarating though and I feel really smug now I'm indoors with the rain lashing outside.
