I've done it - and am soooo proud! It took a while longer than anticipated (I totally failed week 9 first time round, so took myself back to week 5), but I've done it! Thanks to everyone on this site - the support is fantastic - and to anyone thinking of starting the programme, I am a fifty year old, ex-forty a day smoker, a little fatter than I'd like - and have never been sporty - but I've done it!

Well done graduating doesnt it feel great, I graduated about a month ago, but still finding the next step for me, I find my breathing is still breathing really really hard and fast all the time. I hope you carry on too.
Belated thank you littlejan! Hope you have found your next step; we are just back from a week's holiday so only did 22 mins today - but quite happy about that!
That's a great achievement, you really showed staying power doing it that way! I'm not sure I could've stuck at it that tenaciously. Very many congratulations and enjoy your new running as a graduate - it gets better!
from one 50 year old to another, congratulations - have a great weekend celebrating, and enjoy planning your future running career. It feels great - and you got your badge really quickly.
Belated thank you ginthestring! It's really good, isn't it! Just back from a week's holiday, but went out today and did 22 mins (it was an all inclusive holiday!!!), so not too unhappy about that. Thank you again - the forum support is invaluable.
