So tonight was the first run of wk4 and all though it wasnt great it wasnt too bad either. managed to complete just over 4 minutes of the first 5 minute run and only stopped as my lace had come undone and I nearly went A***E :over T*T
Tried concentrating on the breathing as Laura suggested but by the second 5 minute run my shins were hurting again and my breathing was terrible and chest pounding so I completed 3 minutes of this section. Not a bad effort all in all 13 minutes completed. Our house has visitors at the moment known by the name of The Germ Family! OH and kids are full of a cold and cough and although Im not as bad as them I certainly felt it tonight during my run. Think I may have to repeat wk4 next week but Im okay with that, still proud of how far I have come in 4 weeks.
Hope everyone is having a good running week

Three weeks in the bag instead of three weeks on the couch...I agree with Vivwestie...You have every right to be proud!!! There is no race to the end of the program, so take it as it comes...complete each run and then collect that wonderful badge!! Keep Running!!!
Such a great blog! You are doing fantastic!!!! The breathing will eventually come to you, I still have runs where breathing, stride etc. is out of whack for some reason. Keep blogging and running yummymummy!
