Just wondered what in the 'post-Laura' era we run to when not listening to one of the 5+ podcasts-other than own music of course. I seem to find my rhthym just as easily listening to : T20 cricket, archers omnibus edition. drama of the week or radio 5-live. Any other weird choices out there?
What are the strangest things we run to? - Couch to 5K
What are the strangest things we run to?
Nope, I run to interval running beats, or general running music; fairly boring!

I dont usually take my ipod now, I like to listen to the sounds of nature (and it helps me hear cyclists etc coming along the path so I have more of a chance to call my dog back).
The BBC Ouch! disability podcast.
It has to be cheesy 80s tracks - but some rap as well, which always takes me by surprise. I need a good thumping bass to drown out the sound of my huffing and puffing, and to disguise the thud of my feet hitting the ground!
I've just down loaded a couple of audiobooks to see if I'm concentrating on them I don't notice how puffed/tired I am lol.
I like listening to podcasts while running sometimes - especially comedy podcasts. Dave Gorman's is a good one.
Yes.I also enjoy listening to comedy including Dave Gorman but I'd forgotten to look for him when looking for new stuff to download so thanks for the reminder. I especially like it that you have no interruptions to your listening when running-no stupid calls about PPI solar panels or changing energy supplier!
There are 5+ pod casts? Would you have a link for me, please?
Graudated yesterday and have been "collecting" music to run to. The Laura-Podcast music is actually not my cup of tea at all, but it works well for me, i.e. the lack of lyrics (mostly) and the beat which lets me fall in to a steady rhythm. Looking for other tracks though for future runs. Hence my asking for 5+ podcasts
I like to listen to the radio on a long run.
Wow! The original post is over 9 years old!
I've run to spoken word podcasts, comedy quizzes, music (pop and classical), radio (live and recordings) and nothing at all.
I have not listened to The Archers for about 18 years. I consider myself a recovered Archers Addict.
One thing I haven't done yet is try to run and hold a phone conversation. I ought to be able to by now. I have stopped a run and walked to take a phone call, though.
