I have just started work as a GTP English teacher at a secondary school. I am the tiredest I have ever felt in my LIFE! Getting up an hour earlier and coming home at 5:30 with lesson planning to do meant I had made excuses to put off w6 R3 and left a gap of 3 days between run 2 and run3. BIG MISTAKE! I wish I had just got off my arse and gone and done it after one days rest. Today was hard and I ran a lot slower than normal (maybe due to the macdonalds I scoffed last night.)
But - lesson learnt. This wagon is really easy to fall off just like any exercise regime so now on I will continue to force myself out because the longer you leave it the harder the runs!!

You DID the big 25 minute run! Wow, that's fab. It doesn't matter if you ran slower, you nailed it. Now you have finished all the intervals and the next 3 runs are what you already did today.
No wonder you're tired! Hope the job's going well, and that you can have a restful weekend secure in the knowledge that you are well on the way to graduating! Don't be too hard on yourself, exercise has to fit around the rest of your life and sometimes an extra day or two of rest will help you onwards with yournxt run. Well done.
Well done, I know how tiring it is working in a school (and I don't even deal with the kids). This is me tomorrow, W6R3, 25 minutes, I'm as nervous as I was this time last week.
