Firstly, Week 8 Run 2.
My usual 10 minute demons were in force, i'm feeling uncomfortable, legs hurting, a bit out of breath, but at the 10 minute mark I hit a downhill stretch, so as soon as I do that i'm pretty happy for the rest of the run.
20 minutes in and I'm on my 2nd loop of my route, and I hit the hills again, which usually wipes me out and it is just a matter of hanging on to the end. Not this time though, I got halfway up the 2 of the hills by minute 25 and was feeling really good, enough for me to pick up the pace for the last 3 minutes and I really enjoyed it I could have easily carried on for the full 30, but my new toy was telling me to stop.
Jog Log on iOS. 69p, syncs my runs with runkeeper, allows me to play my own music, has the couch to 5k plan built into it as one of it's default workouts. So i get to listen to my own music, but still get told when to start and stop running
It doesn't work perfectly, as it still sent my warm up and warm down info to runkeeper, even though I told it not to, so I think i'll stick with basic runkeeper for the main runs. However for my plan to do the course at a faster pace again once I complete it, it'll be a godsend for the earlier workouts
