When do you call it a day and say you're too ill to run? I've heard if its above the neck you're find and if below the neck you're not?
Spent most of yesterday fluey and shivering and feeling awful, today is a bit better, sore throat and occasionally coughing. Really raring to go out for W1R3

If I were you I would crack on with it and see if you get through it. You might surprise yourself and the feeling of satisfaction would be all the greater.
If you go out and can't do it then chalk it up to the illness and try again once feeling better.
Do not interpret this as medical advice of any sort.
I'd say if you have a temp, or if doing your run starts you coughing or makes your throat worse, then don't. If you're feeling a bit better today you'll probably feel a bit more better tomorrow.
On the other hand if your temp's normal and you don't cough and if you really want to, then have a try. Listen to your body.
I know it's horrible when you've just started something like this and then you're blocked by being ill or whatever, but tomorrow is another day and you'll almost certainly have more 'extra rest days' before you get finished!
Good luck whatever you decide and get better soon!
My advice would be listen to your body! It's better to have an extra rest day and go out when feeling better than go out and then put yourself back a few more days coz you've over done it. Only you know how rough you really feel.
So I went out, stupidly chose a route with a hill in it (only a short one, but at pretty near to a forty five degree angle- in my defence I didn't know the hill existed) and left my sun cap at home. I only did three of the eight running segments, BUT I kept moving for a full half hour and covered a mile and a half.
Now you should maybe wait till you're quite fit again before going out for the next run so that you can have the positive feeling of finishing the run as well.
Turns out I have the flu. Doc thinks it'll be cleared up by the weekend. Might go out for a W1 run again on Saturday or Sunday if so, and then be able to move on to W2 next week.
