looking to buy running bottoms but not to sure... - Couch to 5K
looking to buy running bottoms but not to sure what material to buy, most i have looked at seem far to thin.
I have a pair of Nike & a pair of Karrimor running leggings, neither are that thick but remember your legs are doing all the hard work so they don't feel the cold that much. Last winter when we had temperatures of -8C I put on a pair of cropped leggings under my running leggings a few times but really found I didn't need them. Also running gear copes better on its own when wet which happens a lot up here in the far NE Scotland all year round.
I have got a pair of Ron Hills women's running bottoms that I love. They are cut like track suit bottoms (leggings are a step too far for me) and are made of wicking material. They wash and drip dry in a flash. When it rains they appear to have a teflon like coating so light rain rolls off.
I have Ron Hill ones as well (the Capri pants and, gulp, the running tights for winter!). I'm pear shaped and hate wearing bottoms that are too thin but find that the Ron Hill ones have a slight Spanx effect, which is an added bonus!!
I've got Karrimor capri pants - they seem to stop any wobbly bits from wobbling and they're comfy !
I didn't think the world was ready for my wobbly tum and bum so now I've got skapris which are basically leggings with a little skirt on top. I love them! wiggle.co.uk/nike-ladies-ru...
Thanks for replying, shall be checking out the ones mentioned.. X
