Start week 4 tomorro, I struggled with running for 3 mins in week 2, I did it and felt a real sense of achievement, but I just don't know that I'm ready for 5 mins if running in week 4? What should I do?

I felt exactly the same was but I have just finished W5R2 which is 8 mins. I am overweight and not a natural runner (I'm not exactly built for speed) but I shocked myself when I did my first full 5 mins. Don't get me wrong it was a hard slog and I was gutted when Laura announced that I was half way as I thought I was further through but just thought to myself that every step meant I was a bit more than half way through. Then after a bit I was a lot further than half way through. When I only had 60 seconds left they were a struggle but you feel such a buzz you just keep going. Good luck

Well done!! Glad you went for it. I had the same fear of week4 as you. Now I'm looking at week 5 runs thinking the same thing. Someone said on another blog how this running lark is as much about the mind as the body. Sometimes I think it's more about the mind than the body.
