I ran 10k on Thursday and, ever since, have had a pain at the back of my left leg.

behind the knee (not actually in the knee though but where my leg bends) Should I atempt another run or wait. I always feel a little stiff the day after a run, but goes back to normal quite quickly so no problem. This feels a bit unusual though. Does anyone have any advice?

I'd hold off running until monday when you can check with a GP/physio. Why? 'Cos you said it feels "odd". If I'd listened to my calf as it went past "normal" tightening to "ouch" I wouldn't have had 3 weeks off due to injury. You've been doing this long enough now to distinguish between a genuine warning signal and a "I can't be bothered to run" twinge. A little bit extra voluntary rest now is better than a couple of weeks of forced rest.

Thanks KANdoit. I think you're right. If it feels the same on Monday I'll go and see the doctor.
