I'm a 64 year old male: Just ended the third run in week 6: Whew.... 25 minutes. Was not easy! Anyway. At the end of the warm-down Laura says: Congrats.... Take a rest day and go to week 7???? I have been doing 3 runs a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday then resting 2 days on the weekend. Did I miss something here? Thought 3 runs in a 7 day week is the plan??? HELP!!!!
Cheers to all

What you have been doing is the same as a lot of people...run on 3 set days during the week and have 2 days off and then start again. However, some people just run every other day....there is no right or wrong it's about what suits you and your life. Keep it up you are doing great
I have completed three runs in a week as well.. I personally enjoy the 2 day break before starting the following week. Although sometimes, if my schedule don't allow me to do the runs as planned, there may be a two day break somewhere else in between.
I used to run Mon, Wed, Fri and take weekends off but from week 7 I've only been doing two long runs a week so I can fit in all my other activities. I haven't found it makes any difference and I plan to continue that way after I graduate next week. I think it's best to make the programme fit your timetable, otherwise you might not continue
