I've just ran the W9R3 tonight & I'm so proud of myself my husband took me out for a meal. I'm 47 years old & never ran before. My husband has been running for ten years, he has ran the program with me so his had to slow down to my pace. His been a brilliant running Buddy & helped me every step of the way. I intend to carry on running three times a week because I feel so much better about myself & I feel much fitter.

Can anyone tell me how to get my graduation badge please?

I have bought my first 'proper' running gear. It's been baggy tracksuit and even baggier T-shirt up until now. I also have my eye on a Garmin but they're quite expensive so maybe for Christmas!

I graduated on Tuesday, and just wondered what was next ... really enjoyed the challenge of getting through to the end of week 9 and making sure I went out 3 times a week - now I'm left wondering what to do. I'm tempted to carry on listening to a it of a mix of week 8 and 9, ut not sure if that will be enough. People have suggested entering a 10K race or similiar - but I think I've really responded to the structure of the C25k programme ... don't know how well I'd cope by myself!

I went mad and bought some compression and dry fit socks! I was so excited about them - boy am I boring! The dry fit socks are amazingly comfortable but got a bit of a shock when I wore the compression socks for the first time today .... they cut off my circulation causing terrible pins and needles in my ankles and up both legs. Had to roll them down and thankfully everything back to normal. I wonder if maybe I should have bought next size up - anyone know?
