Why does the lesson come after the test?

Ran last night. Good run, although I'm feeling like I didn't push myself to go far enough. After doing a 5K in the heat last week, I took the rest of the week and the weekend off to "recover." I'm not going to do that again. I feel like I missed great running opportunities and therefore allowed myself to "go easy" and not try hard enough because I was just starting out again.

But the good news is, I'm still running and I have no intentions of quitting anytime soon. I also have two runs lined up for July and am looking for more in August and subsequent months.

I am a runner dammit and no one can stop me now! Well, except for me and I'm not going to let that happen. :)
