Nope! You can play the podcasts on any mp3 player, or even your phone if it plays mp3's.

Enjoy running!

As above, no, you don't need to buy an ipod for these podcasts. I have an old iPod classic, and found that it was too bulky for me to carry (since i have no pockets when running), and I didn't want to risk breaking it, so I went and got myself a tiny clip-on (2GB) mp3 player for £10 - just clip it to my top and I'm sorted.

So even if you don't have anything to play the tracks on, it's not too costly to go and find something!

I bought this mp3 player for £15 quid. Its ideal for running really. Nice and small with a decent clip. I've just been attaching it to my shorts and have no issues with it falling off or anything. Just transfer the week that you're on across like you would copy any file. None of the faff you have with apple stuff where you have to download loads of rubbish onto your computer just to move a file across

Nope, I ran the podcasts on a sanyo walkman mp3 player that must be five years old at least. You don't need anything fancy!

You can get one off Amazon for £6.25 - small MP3 which clips on. I won't advertise the name but it works really well and does the job.

I've completed nine weeks with a print out and the kitchen timer. It worked fine, it's just now when the kitchen timer bleeps no one around here knows whether to run, walk or check the oven!
