i've been running since march and have seemed to develop a cruncy knee. When i crouch down my knee makes a crunching noise but no pain or aches. Anyone else had this?

Yep, I have it as well. I think as long as it is not painful, you don't have to worry, but always worth checking with the doc!

My doctor said that she wasn't concerned about the clicking and crunching noises my knees make when I stand up but she does think that I might have arthritis behind my left kneecap which is causing the stiffness and pain. If you have no pain then would imagine might be normal but as Eliza says might be worth getting it checked out.
I have had problems with my knees for years, every dr has a different opinion. The last one gave me a prescription for anti inflammatory tablets as he thought there could be fluid especially in my left knee behind the knee cap or something, I've not noticed a difference and i'm not in pain so decided to leave it. I am starting the programme this week and I am a little concerned about the effect of running on my knees though...
