Am doing the Race for Life in a couple of weeks so thought I'd try go straight to week 9 this morning. And I did it. Made a playlist of 30mins. Figured out a 5km route and off I went. I actually don't mind running in the rain, keeps me cool! Didn't manage 5k, more like 4.3k but can work on that over next couple of weeks. Really chuffed. Don't feel out of breath, what stops me is the nagging shin/calf pain that after 30mins I can't tolerate anymore.
This plan never fails to amaze me. It truly is incredible. Me. Running for any length of time is unbelievable. Running for 30 mins. Amazing.
