I have occasional problems with back pain which is exaserbated with running but I want to continue running and so am doing yoga on rest days and a smaller number of yoga stretches after running which helps.
When looking on the Internet to see if there was anything else that I could do I came across Chi running, (there is a dedicated website and numerous references).
It seems like a promising technique and there are workshops locally to learn it, but they are not cheep and want to know if this would be a good invesement.
Does anyone know anything or better still has anyone tried it?
Thanks
PS had gait assessed and baught new trainers which helped

Hmm looks interesting. There seems a lot to concentrate on at once. The instructor featured in London, Michelle, does group sessions. Maybe if enough of us were interested it could be possible to do something? It also helps knee trouble and shin splints.
I am in Yorkshire and so was thinking of the one in Leeds. There seem to be mixed views when I 'googled' it. Many people very positive, one thought it was a waste of time, I guess its like anything some people will be enthusiastic and others more scetical. I looked at the teacher in Leeds website; she also teaches Alexander Technique so there mab be something to it...I would just be happer hearing from someone who had done it, as it is quite expensive. But if it solves lots of problems may be money well spent?
