Yee Hah!!!!

Went out today to run W7R2 and ended up turning into Forest Gump. I just ran and ran for 45 minutes and it felt so good. When I started thie C25K on 4/5/12, I hadn't run in 25 years although I have done a fair bit of cycling so reasonably fit. The first 2 weeks were hard as I never had a 2 day rest, I just ran every other day. Since then I just feel better and better. The worst mistake I made were eating less than an hour before running. I invested in a good pair of trainers and now eat a banana and malt loaf before going out. I just keep thinking of Harvey off fit club over and over again. Mind over matter. If u don't mind, it don't matter!!!! That really motivates me.

Wow I am impressed, I hope I want to just keep in running at some stage. I am really happy to stop at the end. Lol well done.

45 minutes? That's nearly twice the time you "should" run by that time. Amazing!!!

I'm happy if I finish the 25 minutes! (I'm on week 7 / r2)

I just seemed the right thing to do. I may be mad but there is a 10k on in 2 weeks and I am getting my name down. I am very obsessive tho. I completely missed week 4 out and ran 15 times in may alone. Just keep going and do what works for u. I have wanted to run for years but never had the right drive. C25k has given me that.

I'm still in awe. Good luck for the 10k!!

I never managed the actual 10km race due to injuring my neck - I locked 2 vertebrae and it hurt like hell. However, the Sunday before the race, I ran to a friends house using a route that was just over 10km. I did it in 73 minutes so still managed 10km in 5 weeks and 2 days of starting the plan. I was very happy. Started running again last sunday and have done three 5km runs since. How u getting on?

Well I ran 54:20 tonight - non stop and felt awful after 2 minutes but just kept going. I covered 4.70 miles in the time I was running and 5.12 including the warm up/cool down. Defo getting there!!
