First run was hard, but doable. My legs still hurt 5 hours later. I cannot BELIVE that I actually ran! I'm pumped about C25K. I have been reading the blogs and preparing myself for today for months now. I DID IT!!!!!

Hi, I just did W1R1 this morning too and although I was terrified to start, I am now buzzing that I have done it. Mind you, a minute is much longer than I thought - am I really going to get better?!

Congratulations and welcome to the house of fun! Yes, it does get better and the trick is that it all happens so gradually. I'm only in the middle of week2 but I can already feel the difference. Good luck with your next run - don't forget, go as slowly as it takes for you to get through it. That helps many people.

My legs ache like mad today! It was so worth it though. I cannot WAIT for W1R2! I hope it does get easier. I could barely go up and down the stairs in my house.
