No (unless I have been misdiagnosed/not noticed it developing) but my Dad was diagnosed with RA 2 years ago. He's always been a runner and apart from maybe three months after the bug which led him to get investigated, he's still at it and he is in his late 70s.

Yes it is Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed in my mid-twenties and wondered if any other runners are experiencing difficulties. I'm in week six of couch to 5k and for the first time ever my symptoms are more manageable. I love running and despite doctors discouraging me to do it, I know I'm not the only RA affected person out there. Thanks for your replies.

Hi Daisee,

Sorry no experience of running with RA but I second Rhona, well done to you for trying to run when you have this condition, listen to your body, take it easy when you need to and you will be successful in the program
