What with the 25 min run and the appalling weather I am seriously struggling to get motivated I point blank refuse to run in a gale with beating down rain.....not fun!

I feel the same. Being a smarty-pants, I've been on holiday and have missed all the rubbish weather you seem to have had at home. But as a Scot, I'm not unaccustomed to the odd light shower... Two suggestions - if you have a Wii Fit, the stepping thingy is pretty good and can get you sweating when the weather is too bad outside. No Wii? Use a stool or something similar. The other idea is to just go up and down a flight of stairs for the 30 or so minutes.
One final idea is to strap a big umbrella to your back and use it as a mobile shelter as you run your normal outside route Hmmm, maybe that's just stupid...

I've been feeling the same way, I'm on week 7 and I haven't been running as often as I should recently largely due to the weather!
Yesterday I decided that enough was enough, and I was going to head out for w7r2 bad weather or no bad weather, so I set off in the drizzle (which quickly turned into a total downpour) and I was soon completely drenched... and you know what, it wasn't all that bad! It was actually kind of fun running through the rain once I got over worrying about getting wet, and the exercise kept me nice and warm. I'd definitely recommend having a go at running the rain.

Oh my reading the blogs im not the only one in a bad place at the moment. I havent run since Sunday so I must run today, but that wind looks shocking. I just know i am going to get the dreaded head wind at some point and i just do not want to run.
I will run though as no one else can get me fit other than me. I have W7R3 to do today. Im sure i will feel better when i finish, or should i say my spirits will be lifted, physically i will feel pooped.
Sorry Laura but some of your music in W7 is pants so that doesnt help, there is one that i have even started to sing along to but i think thats about half way along.
Sorry folks but thanks for the moan. Will have to think of a good focus for when im running to keep me going, i usually try and think of a negative person or thing in my life and i tell myself if i dont walk i am rising about the negativity.
Good luck everyone and lets hope we all have a good run.
