4.1k in week 9 (was run 2 - 17 March). I can now do 5k in 38.57 - so not any faster but I can run for longer. Now working on speed :)

4.1 on 12th April. Now up to 4.5 in 30 mins. Quite happy with that as I am 63years old.

5.01 K on run 1, 4.84 on run 2 and 5.4k today, final run of this programme, I have loved every minute of it (only when I am finished, not during you understand). I dont think it matters really how far you have run but to run for 30 minutes is a huge achievement :)

I didn't keep detailed records at that stage (obsession came later :-) ) but shortly after, I got my Nike+ Sportband and registered 5k in 45 mins = 9mins per km so about 3.3k in 30 mins. I now do about 3.6k in 30 mins - increasing very slowly....

I managed 5km on my last week 9 run but I had to run through a bit of the 5 minute warm down for that. It would have been 4.7km if I'd stopped at the 30 minute mark. That was on a treadmill in the gym though. To run 5km outside normally takes me 2-3 minutes longer.
