50 yr old knees

Had a week 1 run/walk this week of 2.44 miles at 12:16/mile but I really dont know if my left knee is gonna hold up. may have to try this every third day instead of every second day Any suggestions?

hi there, i am a male aged 50 too and my left knee and right knee are painfull, i use knee supports but bought cheap ones, in hindsight i should have spent a bit more around £8 each, may help you i find them helpfull,good luck!

I had a sore knee in the first few weeks so I got a support tube and it really helped. I have no problems now though, must've been my body adjusting to the new exercise. Just take it easy and don't push yourself if it's hurting too much in case of injury.
