So I had my first run with the week 2 podcast, fortunately I was out at a (not-so-local) park so had the opportunity of running in the fresh air, the sunshine and with my brother's dog to keep me company. I have to confess I was quite apprehensive about moving onto week 2 - I think this was more a fear of not knowing what I would have to do this week and I didn't want to let myself abandon the programme.
However I am happy to write that I completed it and felt all the better for it. Onto second run tonight but this time in my local gym. Hopefully it will go even better.
Am amazing already finding that I can't wait for the next run and am feeling the benefits of it - sleeping better, more stable moods etc. Hope you are all finding it as beneficial as I am.

I have just completed my first run of week 2 and it went far better than i expected...felt i could have run longer for each 90 second jog so i think thats a good thing! Looking forward to run 2 on wednesday!
ive also just done day 1 of wk 2, and took someones dog( i walk him 3 days a week anyway). found the jogging for 90 seconds quite easy.but one of my knees is quite painfull.( have suffered with knee problems in the past).I hope i dont have to give this up because when you get into it, it is enjoyable.
