Thanks so much to everyone's advice after my disastrous run on Monday. Today, I changed my route so that I didn't get to that psychological barrier of turning a corner and going home. I also put more motivating songs towards the end of my playlist. I decided I would just run for 35 minutes, however far that was. But when I go to 35 minutes, the app on my phone told me I had run 4.77k and so I found a little bit of extra energy and ran for that last little bit! All in all t took 37 minutes. I am totally amazed at myself. At christmas, I couldn't even run for 1k let alone 5!
