So, as the title suggests, I have just completed C25K for the third time. Actually, that’s not strictly true. On my first attempt I got to some point in week 6 and gave up for reasons I can’t remember now.
The second time, I finished and then continued to run regularly until Covid knocked me sideways. My asthma was affected long term. Anyway, I finally plucked up the courage to try again last November and was even going out early mornings before work.
Just before Christmas another nasty chesty thing came along and put me out of action for about three weeks. This time, I was determined not to give up and went back a week. And now I have finally made it to the end and definitely want to stick with it, as I really feel the benefits.
I’ve looked at the material on Beyond Couch to 5k that pops up when you graduate and have even signed up for parkrun.
My aim now is to actually run 5k and then, who knows. Now going to have a cup of tea and post my good news on my group chats.
