Some amount of adaptation will happen. You can't go from the idleness of the couch to running 30 minutes every other day in just over two months without something complaining.
It's quite common to get slightly sore knees and calves at the start, but that should ease over time. Getting mild muscle soreness many hours after exercise is also common. (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness: DOMS)
But if the discomfort doesn't go away you should definitely consult the medical professionals.
Same for me. It’s the increased workload for me. It’s improving with time. I’m finding that a thorough warm up is essential. As is rest. Hydration is also a factor. These issues weren’t there before I started to run so it’s easy to find out its source. Don’t ignore it. Monitor it. If it’s in several areas then that’s probably workload. If it’s isolated to a particular area it might be a strain or a minor injury. Others on here will be able to advise you better. You’re at week nine. It’s quite intense. I’m at week 8. Good luck.
