When I started I wasn't feeling very well, very overweighted couldn't move much, over the time I started to feel better week by week felt lighter and my mood improved immensely, Sarah's instructions made me easier to move forward what I wanted since I was younger always been called fat by whoever I met also my family members eventhough I wast fat until my 50s, after my husband passed away years ago felt very lonely πŸ™ atleast now I've something to do and improve my health which I was worried about my children are in their 30s and the younger one is in 20s also I was worried about them too because my mother passed from heart condition in her 70s I miss her so much and didn't wanted to repeat the circle, I will be doing my last run after tomorrow because my legs and feet's are hurting, I want to have rest in between to recover, I would like to thank the nhs staff whom have made wonderful app also Sarah my coach, I'm gonna miss you all, have a great time in the future and keep on improving, wish you all the best πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ 😍 πŸ₯° ☺️ πŸ’–

well done for getting to almost the end! It’s a huge milestone!

You probably know already, but we do have 4 other fitness forums, including one for walking and one for general strength and flexibility.

So no need to say goodbye, but rather β€œSee you soon”. πŸ˜ƒ

All forums are described in this post

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and feel free to join any or all!

Well done for getting those runs in!

Hello Rashyb! Have you considered Parkrun? Saturday morning at 9am, you can run, walk, fast, slow or volunteer to help. Best of all is the community which is wellcoming and supportive. I go most weeks and have persuaded various family members to join me when they are able. Parkrun has a website and an app for more information and you can find out where your local ones take place. Get healthy and make new friends!

Well done for getting this far!

If your legs and feet are hurting it might be time to get some new running shoes to help you on the next step (excuse the pun) of your running. Having spent all this time and effort to do Couch to 5K there's no reason not to continue running especially as it sounds like you enjoy it. Obviously you deserve a day or two (or maybe more) to rest and recover :)

A lot of people start C25K in any old shoes they can find. Mine actually were running shoes...but they'd been sitting in a cupboard for 10 years. They got me to where I was able to do my first Parkrun but I got overenthusiastic and pulled something. The physio told me my shoes were completely worn out and I needed new ones, so maybe your aches and pains are footwear related.

Don't know about you but I'll take any excuse to get new shoes :) πŸ‘Ÿ

Congratulations in anticipation of tomorrow!
