Although I graduated last Dec. I didn't get my medal. Do I have to fill in any forms ? Unfortunately I ran for a few more weeks and then my left knee and hip gave up! I did very little but Pilates to start with. The pain stopped me sleeping. I am at least walking now, 4k yesterday but its not the same I will keep walking and doing Pilates but that's it for now. I long to get out there running again. Maybe in the future.

Congratulations and sorry about your injury problems. Hopefully they’ll settle soon. Have you had any professional advice?

Which medal do you mean? We offer a virtual graduate badge which is the word “graduate” next to your name when you post on Couch to 5k. You can request yours from Mummycav here…

No forms, just reply on that thread and she’ll sort you out!

It's kind of a virtual medal - and a huge sense of achievement! 🙌🙌🙌

I finished C25K last year, worked up to a Park Run, then another consolidation run ... and then I got injured (all the muscles between my knees and my mid-back were strained) and had to stop running for more than six weeks. I started again at 1 minute running and am now back to running further than I was last year.

These things happen, and we get through them. Take care, take your time to get well - then enjoy running once more!

Thank you for that. Knee and hip are well enough for walking now so fingers crossed it won't be too long before I'm out there again.
