Hello π and well done to everybody that has been running this week! Super well done! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈToday is a very special day for me and I wanted to share in this awesome forum! πππ I have run 5k in 30 minutes! πππ
It happened this morning in my 10th parkrun πππ Since graduating in July I just kept going... I did two 30 min runs a week for a few weeks, then I went to three. After that, I made all my runs 5k (longer than 30 mins), then I starting pushing myself a little bit harder in some of my parkruns... and today, magic happened π₯°
This challenge has given me not only health and happiness (I feel really good after each run and in general) but also the confidence to try new things (like abseiling for charity back in September - I would have ne-ver have done this before couch to 5k).
