sunny run and greetings from the WI

I decided I wanted a bit of a change today so we opted for a different route. We headed towards the beach through the village where I had to stop to take a pic of the lovely festive post box - made by the WI - how very clever these ladies are. They do lots throughout the year, but I do love the Christmas ones!

A bit breezy down the beach which made the last part of the run quite an effort but well worth it on such a beautiful sunny day.

Ebony is now crashed out next to one of the moggles who is quite bemused by the fact that anyone would want to go out and run for 5K when they could be sunning themselves in comfort! ( and yes he is a huuuge cat he was bigger than Ebs for quite a while! )

Have a good week everyone - I intend to pop over to S&F later and do some of those lovely exercises. There I’ve said so now I’ll have to!

Love this post! I’ve been round my village hoping to spot some Christmas cheer but the recent floods must have washed it away. Great to see yours! Thanks for sharing.

What sort of s and f are you planning? My arms are atill aching from some yoga on Saturday! Have fun!

Definitely some yoga and hoping some tai chi … I do use a runners stretch video on you tube but just need a bit more chilling too. I used to do Body Balance at the gym which I loved and always made me feel so relaxed as well as being a good stretch too

I love Body Balance too! One of me favourite classes!

I might have to rejoin virtual Les Mills just for that. I absolutely loved body combat too.

And me! I can never make the body combat at my local gym and I miss it. The Body Pump class is brilliant though.

I did used to do pump but once I’d stopped I couldn’t bear to go through the pain barrier again to restart! 🤣

Love your post box. The next village to mine often has knitted decorations too. Really raises a smile. 🎅
