About to start week 5 - again

I posted recently about doing C25K for the fourth time as a way to come back from injury. All going well so far and I'm about to start week 5.

Very excited about being able to do my first longish run when I get to run 3. Which is a very different reaction compared to the first time I saw what W5R3 entailed - more like 😱 that time!

It's so lovely to be running again - it creates feelings of freedom and empowerment. I think it benefits my mental health as much as my physical fitness.

So I'm glad I was patient when I was injured - though it was frustrating at the time - as everything seems to be working as it should and I don't feel any weakness in the injured ankle. 🫰🫰🫰

Hope everyone on the IC is coping OK, and happy running to the rest of you. πŸ˜€

Thank you so much. I'm not sure people want to know I'm doing C25K yet again, so it's smashing when someone responds like you have. πŸ˜€πŸ™

Well done making it to week 5 - I'm 2 runs in and back on the IC with an ear infection for goodness sake 🫀

Keep it up, you're doing so well!
