so my c25k has come to a stop about week 7 a few weeks ago! Due to living rural/darkness etc i cant get out in evenings and have kids all day!

so long story short…away to buy a treadmill! Any recommendations for a budget one? I know if u want something decent u have to pay but its really just to use over winter and get my steps up. Under £300 preferably…

tia!

I can't help you with the treadmill, but are you completely uncomfortable running in the dark? I know I'm weird because I love it, but I do have a big head torch. Another option is the gym. We live semi rurally and a gym visit is a 25 mile round trip, but so is the supermarket, so I visit both on the same day. I don't do Facebook, but a couple of friends have bought treadmills quite cheaply from there.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I did used to run in the dark but with two young kids its going 8pm before i can get out and we live on a B class road which can be busy at times (an accident recently just up the road has given me a bit of the fear).

Gym for me would be ideal but also about a 20mile round trip and with the kids i just dont think i would be able to find time. Hence why purchasing a treadmill seams my best option!
