I got to week 3 in July and was just about to start week 4 when I sprained my ankle, Once healed I started from week 1 gain. Yesterday completed my first run of week 4.
I cannot believe that I actually ran for 5 minutes all in one go. My boyfriend who started the C25K with me used to do a 5 minute warm up run when he went to the gym but has not been for 3 years. He has seemed to find it quite easy up until now, he was a lot less chatty this time. I think I am catching him up.

That’s great that you are out there again and doing well- I remember when I was doing the programme I couldn’t believe I would be able to do the runs- but I followed it religiously including proper stretches afterwards - and it works!
I hope you manage to avoid any nasty sprains this time right through to the end - keep us posted on your progress!
Thanks, It was annoying that I sprained my ankle walking the dog rather than running. I was moving out of the way to avoid someone when I found a hole in the long grass and down I went!!
🍏🙌 Well done for starting from scratch it sounds like you are really enjoying it too. Look after those ankles. Have a little look at our strength and flex forum..
