Having taken I few extra days off due to a slight pain in my knee I woke up this morning and really couldn't get motivated to plod for 25 minutes. I needed something different so decided to go for some NRC Fartleks.
As soon as the decision was made I was up and out. I remembered having fun with Fartleks previously so had that extra motivation.
Following the warm up the Fartlek session flew by and I really enjoyed it. However, as I had spent a lot of energy the remaining 6 minutes to get to 25 minutes was a real mental challenge.
So glad I managed to keep going.
Feeling good for the rest of the day now. Whoop Whoop.
