After completing C25K last year it’s taken me until today to run 5k in 30 mins.
I am so chuffed as I try not to get too hung up on speed pace etc but today I set out determined to give it my best shot and I actually did it.
I am realising that running is maybe 60%fitness and 40% mental preparation. Certainly the right mindset can do wonders. I’m practicing both for my impending 10k run in 2 weeks. Slow and steady gets you there. 👍🏼
Excellent work! 🙌 I think I have got 6th either way now and am slowing down in order to be able to run for longer!
