Hello, I completed my Week 9 Run 3 yesterday evening - I know it's my umph time but do I get another Graduation Badge? How exciting - onto certificate site next!
Thanking you and wishing you a wonderful Bank holiday!
whoop whoop, thanks off to print my certificate. Thanks to you all keeping the site going, some really great tips & advice, I will certainly keep reading & posting. π₯³
To my great surprise I have completed all nine weeks, first time I have done any running in 50 years, since I hated cross country at school.
I found week 7 tough as I suddenly realised that I wasn't going to get to 5k, wish it could be renamed couch to 30mins, so it recognises the achievement.
I've enjoyed reading all the comments, and maybe now I will be brave enough to ask some questions while I consolidate and aim for a park run.
Hi , just want to say first a huge thank you to you and everyone on here for such valuable support and info .
I completed last week and am now running ( slow jogging) without Denise Lewis egging me on - if I miss her too much I might repeat run 3 of week 9 a few times π
Hello! I completed Week 9 (of Couch to 3 5k!) on 4th May but then went away for 2 weeks so am late in asking for my badge. Now going to look for advice to work up to 5k π
Thank you so much to all of the kind, supportive people on here who have helped me so much with encouragement and great advice. I welled up slightly when coach said 'you've done it'. A bit to go to get to 5k, but I'll do it.
Thank you so much for this forum. It has been so helpful and encouraging to read. I decided to try Parkrun to finish my Week 9 runs and although nervous I ran the whole 5K in 39 minutes and could probably have gone a bit faster (total surprise). I was the only first timer but I ran alongside another runner who was doing a steady pace, otherwise Iβd have gone too fast. That friendly chat was the first time Iβd had a conversation while running - finally know what is meant byβconversational paceβ. Iβm so happy to have made it through C25K before my goal of my 50th birthday. It took longer than 9 weeks for me but Iβm here now!!
