I want to keep going

Hi Dogforlife
Which post are you referring too ?
As this is a new post and not a reply to someone else .
But on to the knees
Can I ask a couple of things .
Have you read through the programme guide (I noticed Oldfloss linked it for you in reply to your first post) ?
Are you having at least 1 rest day between runs ?
And are you doing the after run stretches?
All of the above will certainly help .
Having said all that it is not uncommon for new runners to have a few knee niggles, but do not run in pain !
There are links to knee strengthening exercises in the program guide and they certainly help .
Other things to consider would be what is your footwear like ?
Are you running in proper running shoes following a gait analysis?
Also are you over striding and landing heel first ?
All this can affect your knees so it really is a case of elimination at this stage .
But if your knees are painful, give yourself another day or two rest .

Here is the link again for you

You can find your previous posts (where the link was)By clicking your profile picture and then selecting 'Posts' as in the attached photo.
This will then list all your previous posts.

Take an extra rest day if you need to, drink plenty of water, take it nice & slow...you'll get there ๐

Welcome to C25K and great job for starting out on the journey.
You have to listen to your body always and do not run in pain. My knees did not survive my first attempt at this - Iโm much better at listening to my body now.
I run on totally flat ground, no dipped driveways, pavements, grass or off road. My knees canโt cope with it. Iโm hoping once Iโve been running for a considerable length of time my knees and the muscles supporting them will allow me to run somewhere else one day.
Rest up and go again when your body allows - good luck!!
