A couple of lovely milestones!

I just completed week 5 and did the 20 minute run this morning! Almost more excitingly, I’ve been running around after my children SO much more. It’s so noticeable that the fitter I’m getting, the more inclined I am to spiny after them. It’s really lovely! I also noticed that my resting heart rate has come down a few points too. Very happy to be starting the year like this, I really hope I keep it up!

That's great to hear! I'm sure you will keep it up as it seems to be doing you so much good. When you graduate ( not long now!) pop across to bridge to 10k for extra motivation. Congratulations on your journey so far

That’s absolutely fantastic! You must be so proud of yourself and what a great bonus that your children have been able to benefit from the increase in your fitness too. Just think where you’ll be in a month, in a year, in five years etc. c25k is the start of a brilliant journey.

It’s always worth a read through the program guide linked here for hints and tips. Week 6 sometimes catches people out after the high of week 5. Keep it steady at the pace where you can talk out loud in full sentences and you’ll do well!

What a great run to have completed, it's wonderful when we start to notice a difference isn't it?

it’s so satisfying and so great to focus on the fitness benefits rather than anything else 👍🏻

I loved it when I got to week 5 and 6, really does feel like a milestone. I didn't run as much over Xmas and then got flu in January, so I started again from week 5 and am back on track, well done
