Hi. I’ve just graduated couch to 5k My plan is to regularly go to park runs and do a formal 5k soon then work up to 10k. Can anyone recommend a 5k to 10k training plan please?

Just graduated. What next?
Congratulations! What a brilliant achievement! First and foremost, how are you celebrating?
You’ll want to spend some time sticking at 30 minutes first to allow your body to consolidate what you’ve done. Usually around three weeks or until you’re completely comfortable. That will minimise your chance of getting injured straight after graduation. After that, there’s the bridge to 10k forum here with lots of ways to build up to 10k when the time is right. If you’re interested, we run a quest where you set your own goals and consolidating couch to 5k by running three times a week consistently is a common one. That will start on Feb 1st.

Happy running!
Well done Tishtash1 ! Definitely consolidation first, as MissUnderstanding has explained. Then when you're ready to build towards 10k I'd recommend the Magic Plan over on the Bridge to 10k forum. Details here: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
Nice job! Well done Can thoroughly recommend Parkrun as a very structured & motivating way to keep it up - every Saturday morning at 9am. Parkrun also a really lovely community of runners. Signing up to Strava for me has been really helpful.
