Yay! I completed the last run of week 4 today. I focused on slowing down today and stayed close to home, my route map looked like a little snake 🐍 I felt myself speeding up at times but being mindful of my running style and how my feet were making contact with the floor helped me to go slow and concentrate on my movements. I haven't made it past W5 R1 yet without going back and repeating weeks 3 and 4 but taking it a bit easier today has dedintly helped me feel more positive about doing the longer runs 🏃♀️ I made it round today without breaking a sweat and didn't feel like I needed the walking breaks as much as I did on the last run.
Hopefully by this time next week I'll be telling you I'm a week 5 graduate and will be moving onto week 6!

Fantastic news! You’re really hitting a groove now. Just keep doing what you’re doing. Keep it steady. Keep your rest days. Keep going! Before you know it you’ll have completed what in my humble opinion is the best run in the programme. Try not to build it up into something it isn’t. It’s just another run and you’ll absolutely be ready for it. Step by step.
Congratulations on yet another tick on your journey!
Fabulous news. Try and also focus on a positive mental attitude ('I can do this') as well as the physical training. Week 4 was a big step up from week 3, and week 5 is a more moderate increase. You have no reason to fear it!
